THIS ROLE

The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) is a key member of the Norvado Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This position is accountable for all residential and commercial revenue-generating functions, providing strategic direction and hands-on leadership to the marketing and commercial sales teams. The CRO is responsible for developing and executing integrated sales and marketing strategies, leveraging data and key performance metrics to drive results. The CRO must foster strong collaboration while maintaining close working relationships with every department to build a culture of sales while sustaining a strong team environment. Additionally, the CRO will manage product management and development initiatives, ensuring alignment with revenue objectives and supporting the company’s growth goals.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Revenue Strategy & Leadership: Develops and executes comprehensive revenue‑growth strategies for Norvado’s products and services, with a strong emphasis on recurring revenue and expansion into new markets. Aligns sales, marketing, and customer‑facing teams to achieve shared revenue goals and deliver a seamless, cohesive customer experience. Directs pricing strategies, revenue forecasting, and sales performance management to ensure revenue targets are achieved and profitability is optimized. Is a champion for Norvado. Actively seeks opportunities to enhance brand awareness, strengthen public relations, and promote the organization’s reputation.

Sales & Marketing Management: Leads and mentors the sales and marketing teams by establishing clear goals, quotas, and performance metrics that support organizational growth. Drives marketing initiatives to elevate brand awareness, increase customer acquisition, enhance average revenue per user, and strengthen retention. Fosters strong cross-functional collaboration with Norvado’s customer service, finance, and operations teams to ensure go-to-market strategies are aligned, effective, and scalable.

Customer Success & Retention: Champions a customer-first culture that consistently drives high levels of satisfaction, loyalty and retention. Establishes, communicates, measures, and disseminates sales goals and objectives to ensure organizational alignment and accountability. Collaborates with customer service teams to enhance support processes and identify opportunities for revenue growth through effective upselling and cross-selling. Develops and implements incentive and commission programs that motivate performance and support company-wide revenue objectives.  

Reporting & Analytics: Provides accurate revenue forecasts, oversees pipeline management, and delivers in-depth reporting to the executive team to support informed decision making. Analyzes business trends, market conditions, and customer data to identify new opportunities and guide strategic refinement. Develops and maintains daily sales and funnel reporting, leveraging performance metrics to steer, motivate, and optimize residential and commercial sales teams.

Strategic Partnerships: Builds and maintains strong relationships with key clients, industry partners, and stakeholders to support long-term organizational growth.Identifies and pursues strategic partnerships that expand Norvado’s footprint and enhance its portfolio of service offerings.

The above is intended to describe the essential functions of the Chief Revenue Officer. Other duties may be assigned as required by business necessity.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrated computer proficiency including a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint, and PowerBI.
  • Knowledge of Norvado’s billing and records software (NISC) is preferred but not required.
  • Proven experience in senior sales or marketing leadership roles within the telecommunications or technology industries.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing revenue strategies, especially in fiber broadband or related services.
  • Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, and team-building capabilities.
  • Expertise in data analysis, performance metrics, and revenue operations.
  • Ability to transition between high-level strategic planning and hands-on tactical execution.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

  • Normal office environment.

EQUIPMENT & TOOLS

  • Daily use of computers, telephones, smart devices, calculators, copiers, fax, and printers.

CUSTOMER SERVICE/INTERACTION

  • Daily phone, written, and face-to-face contact with employees, including managers, and HR/Safety coordinator.
  • Regular contact with vendors and other business partners to complete job tasks.

OTHER

  • Occasional overnight travel required.
  • Occasional travel by air is required.
  • Occasional travel by vehicle required.
  • Occasional overtime required.
